With nearly all flooring you’re going to want to open the boxes and leave them in the room in which they will be installed. This lets them get to the temperature and humidity of the room.
Begin at one corner and work your way out and across the room. Leave adequate space at the edges for the flooring to swell or contract as it inevitably will.
Once the flooring is laid, you can nail the kick plate or molding in place. One mistake that you should avoid is nailing the molding or baseboard into the flooring.
