Several chains of stores have cropped up that permit parents to trade clothing that their kids have outgrown for clothing that they need with just a small outlay of cash in addition to your kids gently worn clothes.
This can be an absolutely outstanding way to get great clothing at a really low cost. Yard sales and garage sales very often sell children’s clothing at a fraction of the cost it was when new and the styles you’re going to find will be much like you want for yourself or your kids since they are probably fashions that were recently outgrown by the seller.
When it comes to getting clothing at a great price, you can’t beat the sale rack. Bear in mind that department stores are going to sell clothing a great deal more inexpensively than will smaller boutiques and specialty children’s clothing stores. The quality may not be that much better but the price will be significantly higher so if you’re on a budget, and who isn’t, avoid small boutique like stores for your clothing or that of your family.
