2. Direct mail. Sure, this has died off a bit over the years but it is still something to consider if you are interested in pursuing this option. With a good direct mail campaign you may be able to find a couple new sellers in no time at all. This is particularly true if your name is well established in a particular area. You don’t have to go overboard with direct mail. Instead, start small and see what is working for you.
3. Ask your current clients for help. You may find that one of your client’s next door neighbors also wants to sell their home. With this in mind, your current seller may be able to help you out in more ways than one. That being said, you have to offer good service if you want your clients to pass your name along to others. You will not feel comfortable asking if you know you are not doing a good job.
4. Make yourself well known in one location. Although you can sell homes all over your area, you should try to become the best of the best in one neighborhood. This way anytime somebody goes to sell their home in the area, they will think of you first. It can take a while to build your brand, but once this happens the business will start coming to you – instead of you having to go out and find it.
