Toys are always a part of every child’s life, and it’s good to know that there are toys appropriate for each age group.
Considering the very nature of toddlers — highly inquisitive, curious, hyperactive, you need to look for toys that are safe for them to hold and toss around. Toys that are not breakable are highly recommended at this stage. This way you will not worry about your child getting hurt. Make sure, too, that the toys do not come with small parts that your little one can put inside his mouth and swallow them.
Soft and cuddly toys are also good for toddlers. They can be hugged for comfort, and you don’t have to fear that they will break into pieces when your little one throws them on the floor.
Colorful toys are pleasing to the eyes of a toddler. Go for toys in bright reds and yellows and vibrant oranges.
Then of course, it’s always much better if your toys are also educational. Select toys that develop the motor skills of your child as well as his mental skills. Sure, toys are meant to be fun and entertaining, but they many toys these days are education in order to make your toddler smarter.
